In our family we have a new obsession. The kids play with clay every chance they get. They are making hamburgers, tacos, hot dogs, cakes, ice cream cones and flowers in the hundreds (well, not quite perhaps…). I lost count of how many hours has been devoted to this last craft mania and both me and my mother has from time to time been involved in the production. Just like when I was a child.

Even at our big girl’s slumber party last Friday the clay was a main attraction and ten seven-year-old girls sat at the kitchen table making clay dices and clay hearts for all they were worth. It was great to see them being so creative together. What I like with this particular clay is that it’s self-hardening and not-sticky.
