Klart!
You will need: Envelope (why not reuse old envelopes?), a sheet of white paper (for the template), a pencil, scissors, glue and a patterned paper.
The inspiration for this craft comes from The Creative Homemaker. More variations on the same theme can be found here end here.
How-to:
- Fold a sheet of plain white paper diagonally. Draw an arc of a heart in the corner of the paper, as shown in the picture. Cut and fold out. The template is ready to use.
- Place your heart shaped template on top of the bottom corner of an envelope. Cut around the template. There’s your bookmark. Now it’s time to make the heart that goes on top of it.
- Draw a smaller heart inside of your heart template. Cut out. Use this smaller template and place it on the patterned paper. Cut around the template. The patterned heart is ready to use.
- Put glue on the bottom of the patterned heart and place it in the middle of the bookmark. That’s it!

Just found you via Pinterest :)…love fun fast gifts…going to make lots to give to family and friends. Extra special as things from Sweden are close to my heart. My Grandma Helga came over from Sweden by herself when she was 19 :). She made lots of stuff for us. She passed when I was very little but I still remember my red mittens she made me, her aprons and sitting in her lap sharing an ice cream bar. 🙂 Thank’s for the spark in my memories and heart. 🙂
Hi Vanessa!
I’m glad you liked my bookmarks. 🙂 And that it made you think about your Grandma Helga. It sounds like she was a wonderful and creative person. 🙂
Kind regards /Helena
