Tokroliga äggfigurer –
Funny egg characters

Time for some untraditional easter crafting. Instead of chickens and easter eggs, why not make funny egg characters? I guarantee you lots of fun and many laughs, just like with the plastic bottle characters we did the other week.

Me and the kids painted styrofoam eggs with hobby paint from Martha Stewart Crafts® and pinned them to barbecue sticks to have something to hold on to while painting. Once the eggs had dried (approx 1 hour), we decorated them with adhesive stickers in the shape of eyes, noses and lips etc.

The egg men got legs out of metal chicken feet and small plastic hats. The eggs became real personalities and the kid’s enjoy playing with them. For me, I had fun time photographing the result. If you want to add more details to your egg men you can make arms out of pipe cleaners or wings out of feathers.
