It’s the first Advent before Christmas and time to decorate the house. My favorite Christmas decorations are a mix of old an new stuff.

Our kitchen shelf changes look through the seasons. Some of the things have their place there all year round, as my Greengate and Cath Kidston-kitchenware. I think they look nice, winter as well as spring.
The open fireplace with pillar candles and spray-painted witch-hazel.

I wish you all a nice first Advent! We will spend it at my mum’s house, baking and crafting for Christmas. As we aways do on this particular Sunday.
Kram, Lotta

I’m following your very fine and inspiring blog from Denmark. I wonder where I can find the picture (post card?) with the girl and a red speaking bubble? It is so fine!
Hi Kathrine,
I love that print too. It’s by Sara Harvey and I got it through Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MultiplePersonality
Although she doesn’t seem to sell her prints there now. But perhaps you could get hold of her through her Facebook-page: http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=Sara+Harvey&init=quick#/pages/Sara-Harvey/131428877702?ref=search&sid=616644736.1578625822..1
Kind regards /Helena
